Prior to splitting into separate small and large animal practices in 1980, the hospital was a joint facility with ownership shared between Dr. Dave Parks and Dr. Dwight Blackwelder. They’ve been open ever since, with two locations as well. They provide 24/7 emergency services for your pets, specializing in services for cats and dogs. They also provide professional services like digital radiology, diagnostic testing, pain management, intensive care, k-laser therapy, reproductive services, and echocardiography. The Animal Hospital of Statesville also has animal hospital care plans for all customers, as well as pet quarters resort and spa where they offer day care, boarding, bathing, and nail trimming for both cats and dogs!
