Website Launch: Our Lady’s Center
Adventure Web Interactive is ecstatic to announce the new website launch for Our Lady’s Center. We have a unique and long, ever-growing list of clients. Located in Ellicott City, Our Lady’s Center is a Marian shrine with many different “offerings”. Let’s learn a little more about this divine and independent non-profit.
Our Lady’s Center Foundations
On May 13th, 1974, Frank R. Lancelotta Sr. and his wife Josephine founded Our Lady’s Center. May 13th is symbolic of the Feast Day of Fatima. Our Lady of Fatima represents a Catholic title of the Blessed Virgin Mary, mother of Jesus. Around this time, the devotion of the Blessed Mother wasn’t as prevalent.
Various Activities and Volunteer Opportunites
Children’s Storytime & Craft: You can bring your children in twice a month on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. to hear Mrs. Ginny read fantastic faith-filled storybooks!
Linus Project Blanket Making Group: On the 2nd and fourth Tuesdays of every month at 1:00 p.m., you can learn how OLC’s talented Blanketeers no-sew fleece blankets for children in need.
Volunteer Opportunities: OLC offers up many ways that you can give back, such as spring cleanups and Eagle Scouts projects!
A Large Gift Shop: OLC’s bookshop offers everything Catholic you could need, such as Bibles, devotionals, rosaries, seasonal giftware, and the latest Catholic books and publications.
Mass/Devotions
Weekday mass happens Monday-Friday at noon. After mass, there is reconciliation. OLC also provides other devotions such as:
Eucharistic Adoration
First Friday Devotions
First Saturdays Mass and Devotions
Holy Rosary
