About Dr. McAfee
Dr. Paul McAfee is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who founded the Scoliosis and Spine Center in 1991. He, along with a team of spine surgery specialists, treat spine problems due to chronic illness, developmental difficulties, and injuries, among other causes. Dr. McAfee performs over 400 spinal surgeries per year mainly at the St. Joseph Medical Center and Sinai Lifebridge, and teaches spinal surgery students across the globe, including at Johns Hopkins. He has also done extensive research and has publications on the biomechanics of the spine.
